Our Grounds crews have transformed 77 of the 167 grass/landscaped County-owned medians, mainly on the Southwest County Improvement District (SWTIF), from rocky dirt and patchy grass to luscious greenery and mulch.
The crews remove dead/dying plants, trees, weeds and debris, scrape the median clean, install new irrigation systems, plant and install trees/plants based off of our landscape architect drawings and maintain them weekly.
“It’s good for property values and it’s good for pride as well,” said Commissioner Kevin Van Ostenbridge (District 3).
