Central Closure: The Central Library will close for repairs due to Hurricane Milton damage, starting Wednesday, October 30. All Central programming is canceled through Saturday, November 9th. Polling will still be available at the library on November 5, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Updates on reopening will follow. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Island Hours: The Island Library Branch is currently open Monday through Saturday from 9am to 6pm. 

Veterans Day: All library branches will be closed on Monday, November 11th in observance of Veterans Day. All branches will reopen on Tuesday, November 12th at 9 a.m. 

Lakewood Ranch Library Closure: The Lakewood Ranch Library will be closed for maintenance from Monday, November 18 through Friday, November 22. The library will reopen on Saturday, November 23rd at 9 a.m.
