Our Mission is to provide an accurate and seamless representation of the County’s underground infrastructure networks; in so doing we provide the tools for the municipality to conduct analysis, planning, safeguarding, and work management for that infrastructure.
- Develop & maintain the County’s enterprise wide geographic databases for potable water, sanitary sewer, reclaimed water, fiber optic, traffic, and lighting networks.
- Produces quality graphics and mapping services using GIS information.
- Coordinates with the Information Technology Department (IT) to develop and maintain user applications that provide crucial information to our internal and external customers.
- Coordinates GPS and field data gathering activities to support the GIS development effort, including coordination with other sections, divisions, or departments.
Public Interactive Map Service
This mapping service was designed to provide a detailed view of the utility infrastructure in Manatee County with regards to potable water, sanitary sewer, reclaimed water, fiber optic conduit, traffic conduit, & street lighting. In addition, this service provides access to the recording documents and is the same service County employees utilize to execute their daily activities.
